  • Edit existing contacts/banking account numbers

Is there a way to edit previously saved contacts/accounts. I want to change the name of one of my favorites

    Yeah same here. Without to share my contacts, Is there a way to add/edit contact information?

      This is an ommission by many banks. Why delete an entry and then create a new entry when a simple edit will do

        This would be an excellent feature. The lack of reply seems to indicate it is not implemented nor is it a priority

            While it's on our topic we always love great suggestions. Are there any great ideas out there what you would like to see in this possible feature? 😊

              Share/edit contacts plus possibility of repeating a transaction while changing some of its details, e.g. amount, description

                Also, not only can we currently not edit account numbers, but please let us edit all favorite details, such as name, email, phone number and even the picture, because for some contact I'd like to set a diffirent image, not the one assigned by bunq.

                For example in my case, I send a payment to my boon. IBAN number, which is in my name but from Wirecard bank in Germany, to use with their boon. Apple Pay virtual wallet creditcard service, but the image is that of the Wirecard logo. not something I'd like to quickly identify the payments with. Same with payment to or from family members, it show the logo of their bank (ING in the Netherlands in my fathers case), and not a custom picture like you can set-up in a phone's standard adressbook. So please bunq, expand the fevorites function into a full-fledged addressbook like tab or section within the app we can access any time.

                      Something tells me they might be on to something smarter than most other banks do for managing favorites/contacts.


                      Probably some clever way to integrate/link with contacts from your phone address book and pulling the name/data/photo from there.

                        Any update on this? Would also like to have a nickname for favorites because I don't know everybody's and every company's name

                          Considering bunq doesn’t do name check, you can technically use the name field as nickname.

                          For example, instead of writing Jan van de Wiel, you could write Jan ING. Same goes for your own account. Just add a note/name to the end to make it recognizable for you.

                              I'd like to know whether or not this is on the roadmap? I made a copy/paste error this afternoon so now a 'unwanted' contact is in my favorites. And only then did I find out there is no way to edit my favorites..which seems a bit odd! Hope it will be implemented soon :)

                                If you go to your favourites, you should be able to remove the unwanted one and add the right one tapping on the "Edit" button on the upper right side of the screen! 🙌
