Hello,

I’m currently waiting for 2 refunds one from Zara after returning some clothes and a deposit after renting a car in Lithuania.

Both merchants have made the payments back as they claim but bubq is inviting me to wait more.

Has anyone experienced a similar situation?

I would be less frustrated about this process but a friend of mine is in the exact same situation and he’s refund was solved instantly.

I’m trying to figure out why my situation is different and if there’s something else I should do.

    @Mihailesco#267334 Payments are always back in my account within 2 business days after a merchant refunded it.

    Creditcard deposits can take 30 days until they're back on your account.

    If you already contacted bunq support, there's nothing else you can do but wait.

      @thijsoost#267337 Good to hear that my friend got his deposit back in a few minutes after requesting a refund.

      And the other return it was not a deposit, should have been back in a few days.

      Maybe it’s related with the fact that my card is not linked to the main account but to a virtual card.. 🤷🏼‍♂️

          @Mihailesco#267343 You can't connect a card to another card. You mean that you used a Digicard instead of a physical Mastercard? For online payments it doesn't matter which one you use, they're both Mastercards.

          If a deposit on your creditcard isn't released by the company, bunq releases it automatically after 30 days.

              @Mihailesco#267351 I once had a refund I couldn't see on the app. Support told me to export my bank statement and it was visible. Could this be the same for you ?

                2 years later

                I reported a fraudulent payment almost a week ago and haven't got any update nor refund. Why is this service called "TOGETHER" if we costumers are gonna be left alone in the dark?
