• URGENT: downgrading from easy green to easy bank

Hello, I opened a new account. I'm pretty sure I chose 'easy bank', but when I look at my bills, I can see a future withdrawal for 'easy green' for 17,99 €. I don't want this and I didn't order it. So that's already pretty 'unusual' if I want to say it politely. I don't want "easy green" and I didn't choose it. Now I clicked my way through how to downgrade to "easy bank". The app tells me then that I have to close ALL accounts to be able to downgrade. What's the use and why do you make it so complicated? I have closed "bills" and "travel" as these had 0 € on and because I read that I can only have one sub-account with "easy bank". But even with only one main and one sub account the app keeps on telling me that I have to close ALL accounts. I cannot do that because I have money on these accounts. If I close them, the money will be lost, as I am told that I can only re-open them after 60 days. Furthermore I guess this will not be possible after downgrading. Also I don't want to lose my IBAN and the cards that I ordered. How do I proceed? And why is there no personal or telephone support? In the beginning, at least I could contact support through the app, now I can only post in 'bunq together' so that everybody in the forum gets to read my message. That doesnt't seem a very safe way to handle personal banking. PLEASE HELP!

    @New-White-Pronghorn-1071395771#268571 Hi! When you started at bunq, you started with a free 30 days Easy Green trial. You can change your plan within those 30 days if you don't want the Easy Green plan. Go to: Profile > Settings > My plan > Change plan.

    The Easy Green and Easy Money plans have access to 25 sub-accounts. The Easy Bank plan has access to 1 sub-account, so you have to close sub-accounts so that only 1 remains. The Easy Bank plan also has acces to 1 card, not multiple. If you're unable to switch to Easy Bank even when you still only have 1 active sub-account, please contact bunq support.

    If you close an account, you can reopen it WITHIN 60 days. You won't be able to reopen them AFTER 60 days.

    There's indeed no phone support, but you can easily contact bunq support through the in-app chat for personal support.

      @thijsoost#268573 Thanks. I found how to access support. In fact, I'm not able to switch to easy bank even with only one sub account left. The reason might be that I already have 2 digicards.

        @New-White-Pronghorn-1071395771#268575 Could be the cause! Please contact bunq support, because they'll know for sure.

          @New-White-Pronghorn-1071395771#268575 Bei Easy Bank darfst du nur 1 IBAN haben und KEINE Digicards. Also alles schließen und löschen, was in deinem Tarif nicht inkludiert ist. Sollte Geld auf verschiedenen Unterkonten sein, dann kannst du es in Echtzeit auf ein einziges verbleibendes Konto überweisen.
          Bei der Eröffnung wurde dir übrigens angezeigt, dass du 30 Tage automatisch im Easy Green Tarif bist.

            @New-Lilac-Sloth-1702461962#268578 Good point!
            @New-White-Pronghorn-1071395771#268575 The Easy Bank plan indeed doesn't have the Digicards included, so you'll have to delete both Digicards if you want to switch to Easy Bank.

              @thijsoost#268579 How do I delete the digicards? By blocking them? I'm in Germany, so my app is in german ("Karte blockieren"). Is this the right method?

                @New-White-Pronghorn-1071395771#268684 Yes! You delete cards by blocking them.
