When you send a payment from your bunq account, we'll process it right away and send it to the receiving bank. It can then take a couple of days for the payment to arrive to the receiving bank account.
If you have a suspicion that your transfer hasn’t arrived yet, here’s some things to consider:
1. Take into account the waiting time for your transfer’s processing
Since some banks work with different transferring channels, some transfers may take longer to process than others. Usually, bank transfers between banks in the SEPA Region take 1 to 2 business days to arrive to the recipient.

2. Check with the recipient
You can always contact the recipient to see if they’ve received the transfer or have received an indication that the transfer is on its way.
You can also advise them to check their online banking app or export a bank statement to check if the payment has entered their account officially.
3. The transfer hasn’t arrived even after the normal processing time is up, what next?
In such case, you can export a single transaction statement and provide it to the recipient as a proof that the transaction has left your account (and our system too). Then the recipient should request a payment investigation from their relevant bank and provide the same statement to them for further reference.
