I'm somewhat new here with just easy savings account at the moment, and have been reading along abit on this issue.
I also been reading up on bunq founder/emperor, and I don't think that a old fashion 2AF, whitelists will do for Bunq's Ease of Use and Freedom of Choice neo app philosophy. So I got 2 simple ideas and 1 Security solution you can use right now!!
As you all know every easy savings account has 2 monthly withdrawals, bunq can make a simple switch to disable withdrawals altogether. And If you enabled to disable withdrawals you lose those 2 withdrawals you can do per month, until you disable it agian and your 2 monthly withdrawals come back at the start of coming month.
Another extra option what will be easier to implement then a account whitelist. That is to have a switch to only allow withdrawals to a IBAN number with the same initials and last name as your Bunq account. Some exchange limit origin of money flows thats way, and this can be used in a similar way by Bunq, like mandatory or a swich option that can be disable so it stops matching account names at the start of the upcoming month.
So those are just 2 ideas that can simplify & increasecurity, beyond the first layer with your passcode & fingerprint.
And something you can do right now, is to do 2 withdrawals of just 1 cent every month to effectively disable withdrawals for that month with your easy savings account. Yes you need to do it every month, but your savings will be save in that time.
Just my two cents, that hopefully are more inline with Bunq's, Ease of Use & Freedom of Choice ways.
