UPDATE:

Hi everyone, before reading along we would like to notify you that this thread is locked because it became too long. You can continue your search for a bunq Pack in the new dedicated topic here: https://together.bunq.com/d/26999-sharing-the-bunq-pack-2

Is het toegestaan om de bunq Pack te delen met mensen die je niet in het echt kent? Zoja, wie is er geïnteresseerd? :) Are we allowed to share the bunq Pack with peope we don't know in real life? If so, who's interested? :) Ps, geweldige update weer! Thanks for the great feedback everyone! If everyone who's intrested could sent me €0.01 using the great new bunq.me funtion tohttps://www.bunq.me/dennisklappe (I'll sent the cent back, no worries 😉 ) then I'll create a bunq Slice group where we can chat with everyone who's interested.

I was thinking the same thing in the car back from #BunqUpdate6.

The biggest problem that popped in my head is that the Pack Owner gets the monthly bill, and can decide to stop the Pack at any time.

How do you make sure the people you share the Pack with pay you? And what if the owner stops the Pack? Then what?

With people you do know, this would be "easier" I guess.

That was exactly what I was thinking about. Although I know a number of people who will probably want to make the switch.

Lukkie: trust. So basically this is an incentive not to invite true strangers or not-so-good-friends.

Lucas, If you'd like we could share the bunq Pack with 2 others. Let me know!

People would join a strangers bunq pack just to save €3/month?

Why not? You'll need to trust each other a bit, but I think it would really be possible in this community!

Pfff wat een hollands calvinisme weer. Betaal gewoon die €8.

Here's a plan: let's all upvote https://together.bunq.com/topic/scheduled-request-inquiry so it gets implemented to make it a bit easier to send a monthly request for your pack buddies!

                    @Dennis Mooi plan.

                    Laat het me maar weten.

                      I will share it to!!

Why would you share with people you don't know? Just to save some bucks?

I'm thinking about share is with some close family to introduce them in the bunq world. They are looking for something to manage their expenses a bit more as a couple. bunq will do more then the trick for them I think :)

Well, saving some bucks is the point of the Pack. If it wouldn't be, then you could just use Premium as usual for your close family or friends.

The point is, it doesn't really matter if they're friends or family or not. If you have friends or family that are interested in using bunq, that's great! If not, there's always people like Mark trying to get people together. Who knows, maybe a new friendship can arise out of his efforts :)

Of course there is a small level of trust required to join a Pack with strangers. The organizer has to trust that the participants contribute their share of the monthly costs, and the participants have to trust that the organizer doesn't kick them out directly after receiving the payment. In either case, the worst that can happen if someone violates their trust is that the other party loses 5 euros.

                              Count me in Dennis

Why don't you do it the other way around: Get a monthly scheduled payment from the others. Example: At 14th of month, the others pay you 5€, at 15th bunq takes the 20€.

Hi Matthijs, you got I point there. I get that this is a classic example of what 'the bank of the free' stands for. This kind of freedom is the beauty of bunq. But from a personal point of view I still don't get the sharing with strangers part in order to save money. But, fortunately that is a choice every one can make for themselves :)
