I'm sad that bunq focuses more on "social" activities like "Visited Places" and "Tribes", but at the same time moves the Together forum more and more into the background. This place was a great place for bunqers to come together and discuss the product back in the day, but now it seems to become irrelevant. Maybe bunq didn't like the sometimes quite critical discussions on there or maybe it just became too expensive to run and moderate. But I'd like to propose to make Together relevant again. Here are some suggestions for how to do that:
- Move the Together Forum back into the App and put it front-and-center. Currently, I cannot access the Together forum through the iOS app anymore. I only have the website, which I rarely use because bunq is mobile-first anyways.
- Prioritise the Community section over the FAQ sections on web and in-app. When I open the forum on the website, I have to search for the community posts. It's at the end of a long lists of pre-compiled topics like "What's new", "Knowledge", etc. However, these are not Forum sections, these are FAQ topics. Having a good FAQ is important, but the Together Forum should be focused on the community. I propose to have the most recent and most discussed community posts at the top of the website with a link to all community posts and only after those should we see the FAQs. However, if the FAQs are used more often than the Community topics, I'm also okay with moving them to the top and having the community posts below. The point is that I can see the most interesting community posts right away. That would give the "Forum-feeling" back to the Together Forum.
These are just my ideas. Please feel free to add yours as well :)
