As soon as possible.
And yes, you (or your bank) CAN recall SEPA transfers under certain circumstances. The Recall process is one that has actually been properly defined in the SEPA rulebook. And the process isn't really communicated to consumers, thus has to be initiated by manually contacting your bank to see if they can help. Can't say though, if/that success is guaranteed, especially after the amount has been credited to the recipient's account (depends on circumstances, I believe). But I've done successfully done it once, two or three years ago (from an account with a different bank, not bunq).
