• Support Paddle.com as a payment provider

Hi there,

I'm trying to pay for plausible.io, who uses a payment provider called paddle.com. However, my payment fails when I use my "Virtual Credit Card"

"This was declined by your bank. Please try again, or use a different payment method. Contact your bank for further information."

Can Bunq maybe reach out to paddle as well and see what needs to happen to make this work?

Thanks!

P.S. The same creditcard works perfectly when I use it to pay Protonmail as discussed in the above link

@New-Crimson-Hare-3434557177#283114 I also pay for a service via Paddle.com with my digicard without any issues. You can contact Paddle yourself, the support is very quick and helpful!

@thijsoost Thanks for the reply, I just now tried it again and it worked as expected. I think it takes some time for the credit card to be properly activated at third parties until it can be used

I had an issue with my digicard and the payment provider Logpay once, which stopped working all of a sudden. I've created a new one and all worked well again since. Interestingly, if I look into the cards details in the app, the old digicard image mentions "debit" and the new one "credit". I thought, all digicards were a credit since the introduction.

Hello Sergio 👋 Thank you for reaching out! It's interesting that you noticed the difference between your old and new DigiCard labels.

Back in the day, some of our users were given a virtual Debit card when they signed up. This allowed them to order a physical version of the card. However, currently DigiCards are only available in the “Credit" version ðŸ’³
