• Hack message

I received via email that I have to scan the QR code with my app or I will be blocked. Is this not a hacking message?

The message says this:

Dear customer,

Our records show that you have not yet activated two factor authentication. This security method is effective as of Aug. 14, 2023 so that we can further ensure our customers' security against fraud. We therefore request that you set up and activate the 2FA.

If you have not done so before September 14, 2023, you will no longer be able to use your Bunq account until you have done so.

Due to the two factor authentication security update you are required to reconfirm your account with us. If you do not do this? Then your account will be deactivated from 14/09/2023.

Scan the qr code with your smartphone this can be done by opening your camera of the smarthphone and scanning the qr then a link will appear which you can then click on.
