Hey bunqers 🌈
We’ve noticed some users’ sub-accounts don’t convert into Savings Accounts when they switch their plan to Easy Savings, even though our Easy Savings plan allows you to have only 1 Savings Account and 1 Joint Savings Account.
How can I check if this is the case for me?
To do so, follow the steps below:
- Be on an Easy Bank, Easy Money or Easy Green plan and have at least 1 sub-account that’s not a Savings Account, for instance a Bank Account, a Joint Account or an Easy Budgeting Account.
- Try downgrading your plan to Easy Savings by following the steps mentioned here
- Your sub-account doesn’t convert into a Savings Account.
What’s the bug’s status?
📲 Testing: The first step is to try to reproduce the bug in the app. This is important to help us find the root of the problem.
I’ve encountered this bug, what should I do now?
The workaround for this bug will be to do things manually from your side. Thus, you should close all your normal sub-accounts and others that aren’t included in the Easy Savings plan. To be able to change your plan to Easy Savings, you should have only 1 Savings Account and 1 Joint Savings Account.
Pro tip: always keep your app updated! All bugs are fixed through updates so this is the easiest way to always get the best version of the bunq app!
