Maybe it's just me but the usability of the update to me feels completely off.
So here it goes...
I always had my autovat set to 45% to save this amount for VAT and taxes (VAT 21% and taxes 24%). Since the last update this seems to be reset to 21% without notice. Which is bringing the first problems since apparently I wasn't saving enough. Next time maybe send users a message before changing important settings?
However... with the new budgetting options which I do like, I'd like to set it up so the VAT goes to a VAT sub-account and the taxes are going to a specific TAXES sub-account. Now... somehow (if I understand correctly) even though I have a business account the budgetting part is setup so that I can only designate specific payments and set them as 'wages' from an employer ('loon' in Dutch). However... I'm an entrepeneur and my income comes from different contractors. Is it not possible to set 24% on all incoming money (after VAT) just like the VAT feature works? The VAT seems stuck on 21%? I can no longer change that, can I?
So how do I automatically make reservations for 21% VAT and 24% taxes after VAT?
AutoVAT and budgetting
Hey Jelte! Thank you for your question. When you make payments to tax authorities, both incoming and outgoing payments will have a 0% VAT rate applied; other than that the VAT is calculated and applied automatically. Here are more details: https://together.bunq.com/d/17400 π
