  • [SUGGESTION] Turn On/Off Wheel of Fortune

Please make it an option to deactivate the wheel. This is the most annoying and distracting feature. I literally start to hate this wheel and the stupid reminder to click on it. Bunq feels like a casino app now.

The update to make it turn 10 times instead of 2 times is making it literally 5 times worse now.

    PLEASE add a way to turn this off, or at least not show the red dot when I don't play so I can just ignore it. I also wonder, why does bunq want me to play this game so badly? Please, just focus on being a bank and stop adding all these useless features...

      If there’s one thing you want your bank to also be, is a casino. Right? So no, don’t give users the choice. Keep the Wheel! Put in more wheels! There is space for more, surely.

        Please remove it, does not make sense in a banking app at all.

          Would you consider adding an option to disable the wheel of fortune though account settings? The gamification and little red dot that shows up every day is highly addictive but I actually hate bunq for adding this and making me lose time over something I don’t really want to do. I don’t even see why bunq would profit from more of my attention, and it takes away from the professionalism that I expect from my bank.

          support replied that they would consider any improvement that helps with saving time, money, and CO2. Well… this will save my precious time!!

            I support creating an option to turn this off, it's distracting to always have the red dot on the screen. Spinning the wheel 10x is quite time consuming as well...

            I'm starting to wonder if the game is hacked as well, i regularly see scores of 1.280.001pt, that's even 1 more than the theoretical max score. Why is this happening?

              Please let me turn it off. It is annoying and distracting. It makes a good product look back.

              Whoever thought this was a good idea should step out of his own beliefs and accept that not everyone wants this.

                Please please please allow us to turn this off! Seeing that red dot is extremely irritating and just one more alert vying for my attention. Spinning this wheel pointlessly 10 times should not be an “action item”.

                  @New-Jade-Walrus-1266957689#293650 it's one more than the theoretical max score because that's the amount YOU would need to score to overtake whoever is in that position at the moment. That person 'only' has scored the literally perfect score - not 1 more than that

                    Agreed with others who have suggested it. Please allow us to disable the Wheel of Fortune. The chances of winning anything is so marginal that it not worth the time spent and it now only serves as a distraction in the app.

                      Like everyone else. Please disable wheel of fortune, or give me the ability to disable it myself.

                        Let er trouwens op dat bij 3x Payday de 'vreemde valuta' pakt. Dus heb je na honderden keren draaien eindelijk een '3x Payday' te pakken; het maakt niet uit.

                        Als je bijvoorbeeld elke week 150 euro aan Payday krijgt, maar ook nog een verloren accountje met (in mijn geval) us$100,- (dat is wekelijks 7c rente): je krijgt dan niet 3x150≈449 euro, maar slechts 23 eurocent. Dat is 3x 7 dollarcent, maar vervolgens wel geconverteerd naar eurocent.

                        Mag een gegeven paard absoluut niet in de bakkes kijken, maar dit voelt wel heel erg triest.

                              This thread is open for >6 months. Where is the reaction of Bunq? Should be easy enough to make this optional. Probably easier even than banning cheaters. Surprised to see 15.001 as score basically whenever I check.

                                @New-Raspberry-Hawk-4269586074#295072 Think it is on the list somewhere on the bottom of the TODO list, but yeah it would be an easy fix. Since cheating is only way to play it and am baffled that after 2/3 months that they didn't just disable it for everyone and either remove it or make a good fix instead of the half baked stuff. I know it's not a priority issue, but its on the front-end in the face of every user......

                                  Ability to switch it off would be good. Removing it alltogether would be even better. Especially the red dot is a "something needs my attention" element, which makes it hard for me to ignore this. But also the icon there I just don't want to see in a banking app ffs.

                                  Although you could argue this is just something small, in my opinion it shows that Bunq is not taking users (and/or banking) seriously and I'm seriously considering jumping ship for this.

                                    Don't count on anybody working at bunq responding. This "Together" thing is just here to offload delivering actual service to the customers themselves.
