  • 🇳🇱 Distinguish Apple Pay cards in Wallet

Hi. Peace out. ✌🏽️

John Do changed the title to 🇳🇱 Apple Pay kaarten onderscheiden.
Sander changed the title to 🇳🇱 Distinguish Apple Pay cards in Wallet.

love the idea, but for me I've solved this by only having 1 Maestro and 1 MasterCard in Wallet at any time, and of course each has it's own brand logo to distinguish them (Maestro vs. MasterCard)

@DaveFlash#45787 That's a pretty smart idea. Thanks for sharing.

I hope this is solved before the TravelCard is added to Apple Pay - otherwise it will be very difficult to tell the difference between the MasterCard bunq cards

@smyles#99570 We will know next month as the Travel Card will be available in Apple Pay then.

At least if nothing else the Travel Card will be distinguishable by the word "credit" instead of "debit" presumably, and also a different name than "mastercard debit" in the Wallet context, which is more than can be said for multiple bunq MC's until now.

Wow. Awesome to see my idea has turned into reality. Thanks for being bunq, bunq. This feature is very helpful to me. 🌈

If we’re going this route then.. Green Card in the metal look in Wallet please?

(Sorry if it already is, I don’t own one but I’m considering)

@ItsRenee#143285 It already has a metal look, it looks like this:

@Mischa#143281 Congrats on the shout out, even better that you were there at the bunq update presentation

@Fastjur#143315 It was a nice surprise.

I love the idea but its really poorly executed. Sorry, this small border doesnt help at all. The bunq card is just to colorful for the border to make a difference in the list. I would have expected something more striking.

I like this feature, but it’s not really that useful as long as virtual cards can not be added directly to Apple Pay through the bunq app. Right now, with my joint membership I have 3 cards in my Apple Wallet: a Maestro card, a Mastercard debit, and a Mastercard credit (= Travel Card). All of these can already be distinguished using either the Maestro/Mastercard logo or by the “debit”/“credit” inscription. So, unless I’m missing something, this feature would only be useful if you happen to have two cards of the same type that you need to distinguish. Feels like a missed opportunity to not exploit all those new card colors with the ability to add and distinguish virtual cards in Apple Pay ...

@Noah-Pink-Penguin#143460 I like this feature, but it’s not really that useful as long as virtual cards can not be added directly to Apple Pay through the bunq app.

Those cards do not officially support Apple Pay. 😉
