I see an unauthorized bill from bunq of โ‚ฌ19,99
concerning 25 digi cards. I have never requested this. No need for this. How can I get this refunded?
appreciate all help.

@Doan-Golden-Heart#289324 You're billed because you created more than the 25 Digicards that are included in a plan.

You can contact bunq support within 24 hours for a refund. Also make sure to not exceed the 25 Digicards.

      Thanks for your reply Thijs.

I donโ€™t have 25 digicards. I will look for bunq support. A lot has changed at bunq.

@Doan-Golden-Heart#289326 It's not about having 25+ Digicards active at the same time, but about having created 25+ Digicards. Is this also not the case?

The additional costs for more than 25+ Digicards isn't new, has been a thing for many years now.

          Hey @Doan-Golden-Heart#289326 ๐Ÿ‘‹

Thanks for getting in touch with us! I'd be happy to clarify this for you ๐ŸŒˆ

If you have additional Virtual Credit Cards thatโ€™s not included in your plan, you can get Extra Virtual Credit Cards for โ‚ฌ19.99 / month!

For example; only 1 Virtual Credit Card and 1 Physical Credit Card is included in the Easy Bank plan, if you order additional Virtual Credit Cards you will be billed for the Extra Virtual Credit Cards package.

We always aim to be transparent about our fees and prices and you are welcome to check them out here: https://www.bunq.com/documents/pricing ๐Ÿ“š

I can see you reached out to us via opening a ticket, one of our guides will help you out as soon as possible with more details ๐Ÿ™Œ

@purple-axolotl-dinosaur#289328 this is similar to going over oneโ€™s 25 iban slots limit. You are billed in hindsight.

It would be more userfriendly and transparent to inform users they are going outside their current subscription the moment they are about to do that, show the additional costs clearly and ask them if they really want to proceed instead of billing them in hindsight.

Another question is how many users truly would have accepted a 19,99 euro surplus charge per month. If the answer is a small percentage, perhaps this should not be possible in the first place by default unless purchased explicitly by the user.

Personally I would have preferred bunq to be more upfront about it inside their app and protect me (prevent) from unchosen charges.

              Hey there @Joeri-Silver-Lynx#289413 ๐Ÿ‘‹

Thank you for sharing your wonderful feedback! An additional pop-up notification when going over the included Virtual Credit Cards limit is a great idea, and I will make sure to pass this idea to our relevant department ๐Ÿš€

But Iโ€™d like you to know that we always strive for transparency regarding our fees and plan details, including the number of Virtual Credit Cards and Bank Accounts allowed for each of our plans. Feel free to check out your current plan Easy Moneyโ€™s benefits here ๐Ÿ’ธ

And for additional control over your account you can easily keep track of your upcoming invoices directly in the app. You'll always have full control and overview of your account and fees. The app shows you when you will be billed and what you will be billed for in full details โœ…
