Tricount, including your Free Credit Card, entirely runs on the bunq platform. As bunq is a fully licensed bank, we’re legally obligated to take different measures to mitigate various risks as well as confirm that your information is always up to date.
How should I know if I need to provide additional information?
If more information is needed, you’ll receive a notification where you can provide the necessary information through a Support ticket so you can continue to save time and complete this process immediately 📲
After that process, you’re all done and up to date!
How does the process work?
As a bank, bunq is required to understand how you use your Free Credit Card. For this, we might have to ask you a few questions to help us create a safer bank environment around your account and follow certain regulations. We’ll inform you via Support ticket if you ever need to provide information about the usage of your account.
What if I don't provide the required information?
We stick to the highest security standards and it's crucial that all regulations are complied with. If these regulations aren't met, we may have to proceed by deactivating your account. Please understand that this isn't a decision we take lightly and, in the event of account termination, we will always inform you of the reasons behind our action.
How do you submit the information?
- Go to the Card tab
- Tap on “Submit information” and a ticket with the required information will appear
- Tap on “Tell us more”
- Select “Write Text” or “Send an Attachment”
