How will these warnings help me?
If a fraudster pretends to be bunq or asks you to take risky actions, you’ll receive a warning message. This message will remind you that we’ll never ask for your personal info, login details, payment activity, or any other account information. These warnings are there to help you stop and reconsider before sending funds or approving a login.
How does bunq deal with fraudsters?
We’re always improving and adding new safety features to keep your account secure.
- Remote access detection: To protect your funds, we’ve added a system that detects remote access apps like AnyDesk. If detected, we’ll automatically set a payment limit on your account to prevent fraud and keep your money safe.
