When verifying your bunq Business account, you'll be asked for Articles of Associations. In the Netherlands the Articles of Association, also known as Statuten in Dutch, are contained within the deed of Incorporation document upon the creation of BV and Sichtings companies.
What do the Articles of Association contain?
- People involved in the company;
- Each person's role within the company;
- It defines the governance rules for the company
When do I need to formally update the Statuten?
While the Deed of Incorporation remains unchanged, any amendments to the company’s structure of internal governance rules should be formally updated in the Statuten with the civil notary.
