Easy Budgeting on Joint account

Hey, i trying to setup easy budgeting for myself and my wife across joint accounts. I set up the accounts, set the budgets and categories in my app but do i need to do the same in my wife’s account, my settings are not synced with her account?

Hey David and thanks for engaging with our community 👋 Whenever you or any member of your Joint Easy Budgeting account makes a payment in the category assigned to that account (like groceries, travel, etc), the payment will be automatically deducted from the budget you've set accordingly. In this case your wife should enable Easy Budgeting and that would be enough 🚀

I finally got it working. Turns out both accounts have to be setup the same way. It doesn't sync the settings and categories which is very poor.

You also need to make sure all cards are set to pay from ‘auto select’. There is very little info on Easy Budgeting for Joint accounts, the support team don’t seem too up to speed on it either.
