Michel You can reactivate a closed account within 60 days after closing it. After 60 days, the deactivation is permanent.

Thanks for reaching out about this! If you’d like to reactivate a bunq account, we’ve got you covered. You can easily reopen your account by following the steps outlined in this Together topic: How do I reopen my closed bunq account? 📚

If you’d like to reopen a closed bank account, you can do so directly from your archived accounts—as long as it’s been less than 60 days since you closed it. After 60 days, the account is permanently closed and can no longer be reopened.

Please also note that currently, it’s not possible to reopen Joint Bank Accounts.

Here’s how to reopen your bank account:

Go to the 🏠 Home tab.
Tap on Archived under your Bank Accounts and Cards.
Select Bank Accounts.
Choose the account you'd like to reopen.
Go to ⚙️ Settings.
Tap on 🟢 Reopen Account.
Done!
