Hey bunqers 🌈,
When opening your Business account in Ireland, we might ask you to provide us with your Company printout. A company printout is an official document from the Irish’s governments’ registry showing the current details of a registered business.
The printout includes information such as:
- Company name and address
- Management details (directors and secretary)
- Incorporation number and date
- Registered capital
- Shareholders and share transfers
- Any bankruptcy or dissolution information
- A list of CRO filings with dates
In Ireland, you can obtain a Company Printout from the Companies Registration Office (CRO). This document provides up-to-date statutory information about a company, including details such as its name, registration number, registered office address, directors, and filings.
How can I obtain a Company printout?
- Access the CRO's Online Portal (CORE): You can order a company printout from the CRO through their Open Services platform.
- Search for the Company: Use the search function to find the company by entering its name or registration number.
- Select the Company: From the search results, click on the relevant company name to access its profile.
- Request the Company Printout: Within the company profile, look for the option to order a Company Printout. The printout will include comprehensive details about the company, such as its legal status, registered office, directors, and a list of filed documents.
- Payment: There is a nominal fee for obtaining the Company Printout. As of now, the fee is €3.50. Payments can be made online through the CORE portal.
- Receive the Document: Once the payment is processed, you can download the Company Printout directly from the portal.
I’m not sure if my company has an incorporation certificate. What should I do?
- If your company is an LTD, you can order a company printout through the CRO’s open services platform.
- If you’re a sole proprietor and you operate under your own name, you do not need to upload a company printout certificate.
- If you operate under a business name, different to your personal name, you’ll have to provide the printout. You can order a company printout through the CRO’s open services platform.
- If you’re a freelancer, you can give us a tax document from Revenue showing your VAT number.
