Jeroen 🏳️🌈 Tim I think Jeroen is referring to icons that already exist within the app, but just aren't mapped yet to his transactions. 🙂 I'm not aware of bunq being actively adding icons at the moment. I'm discussing with some employees as to how we can solve this issue with the help of the community (that's also why there's a new Google sheet). The tricky part is; currently it requires access to the codebase. And obviously the community can't have access to that.
My current proposal to bunq was to extract the part of the code that defines what transactions should have what icons in a separate GitHub repository so that Pull-Requests can be made to that part specifically. And bunq could then pull the updates every once in a while. The community has shown to be willing to report (and even create) the icons, so that's not the problem. However, this would require refactoring time at bunq, which needs to be justified versus other work. Let's see what bunq comes up with and let's hope we can quickly start contributing our icons. 😁🌈
