• I had a problem with my PIN

It was the first time I tried to use the card but it gave an error when I entered the PIN. I entered it correctly but it didnt work. I wanted to buy a 1,50 product and I had 5€ in my account so what is the problem?

@Hugo-Magenta-Lion#55186 In the transaction overview you can check the reason for the payment decline. Maybe it didn’t have to do with the PIN? Did the terminal say incorrect PIN? Or did it simply decline?

It said Incorrect PIN and I was entering the correct one 100%

It's possible that you were paying at an offline terminal. To make the PIN you defined in your bunq app work, you first have to use an online terminal so that the card "learns" the new PIN.
In which country did you try to use your card?

@Hugo-Magenta-Lion#55240 Hey Hugo, where did you try to pay? Did you got an notification from the bunq App or was it just the terminal?

I tried to pay on a supermarket in Spain. I dont know if the terminal was offline or online but the app didnt say anything, just the terminal said "wrong pin"

@Hugo-Magenta-Lion#55255 If you don't get a notification in the app it's a offline terminal. You can't pay with Maestro there. You can pay with MasterCard (only upto 250 euro). But that is only activated if you have payed with your MasterCard and pin at an online terminal after bunq had made this possible (somewhere in October 2018).
