Can any one tell me how to make an initial opening deposit from a UK bank?

    Thank you for your interest in bunq! If your bank is not on the iDEAL/SOFORT list, then the best solution for you is to do a video call instead to verify your identity.


    It'll not take more than 5min of your time and all you need with you is your Passport! 👍

      I have done that. My account is open and verified. In neither the UK nor France do we have sofort or ideal availablilty so how can I deposit money into this account?

        You can do a normal wire transfer to your bunq IBAN. You can find your IBAN in your bank account 👍

            How do you mean exactly? Because we have no physical terminals to deposit money on your account.

              Hi Christopher, no you can not pay money into your bunq account using a debit card (like you can with Monzo, Fire, etc). You can transfer money from a UK bank by SEPA payment, which if you have reasonable bank charges like Handelsbanken, Monese or Fidor is good value. If you have a more expensive high street bank account to avoid their charges you could try Transferwise or Azimo.
