• At how many banks are you a customer?

@YTL#64098 I never needed iDin, and I never needed to receive international payments. I got a refund once, from a webshop from another country, but this was done using PayPal.

    4 different banks in NL. Or 5 if you count PayPal.

    Why? Bunq is indeed a side thing, primarily for Apple Pay and some extra features I use. My money is still stored elsewhere and not at bunq due to some security and usability concerns (which is somewhat ironic because for some purposes bunq is much more secure.). Then one account that I’m forced to have for insurance that virtually only stores enough to pay the fees every month. Then a business account, bunq is not attractive enough for that. And PayPal because it is needed online, both personal as business.

      I'm using the following banks/cards
      - Sparkasse, Main account for salary
      - bunq, spending account, trying to figure out if it could replace YNAB for budgeting; also used for Apple Pay
      - DKB, used as spending account, VISA credit card
      - Tomorrow Bank, German sustainable bank account, Debit MasterCard
      - Monese, Debitt MasterCard, used for Apple Pay mainly, gorgeous app
      - Curve, proxy MasterCard for others
      - boon., virtual MasterCard for Apple Pay
      - Revolut, holding and spending of foreign currencies
      - TransferWise, same as revolut, but has German IBAN, which is needed sometimes
      - bitwala, Bitcoin wallet and current account combined
      - Moneyou Go, Just for testing

        @Roeshimi#64105 Ha, I forgot all about my altcoin wallets. (To count it I mean.) Not really a bank of course, but still :P

          bunq
          Is my main bank!

          AbnAmro
          (Former and old fashioned backup bank)

          ING
          (Former and now cancelled bank)

          TransferWise
          MoneYou
          N26
          Revolut
          Monese
          (All just to confirm that bunq is still the best choice to hold my main accounts)

            @Petervdv#64086 Did you have any problems getting your mortgage being that bunq is your main bank? I’m thinking about switching fully from ING to bunq for banking

              Bunq 🌈is my main bank.

              ABN AMRO is still there because i have the switch service on. When that’s finished (2 month left) it will be 100% bunq 🌈only! #Finally

                @NikolaasIvan#64122 Nope. My financial advisor wanted my bank statement (among lots of other documents), so I downloaded and provided my bunq bank statement. No problems :).

                  ING:Salary due to usage of an ING safety deposit box

                  KNAB: Main for all preauthorized debits, savings, trading

                  BUNQ: Direct debit card, apple pay, debit mastercard for all foreign webtransactions

                    @Patrick-FalconXP#64126 Creditcards:American Express Green (included with KNAB) and Bijenkorf
                    ICS Mastercard

                    Test accounts: Moneyou Go, Revolut, N26

                      And I thought having 3 accounts was already alot. Now seeing you guys, I'm only a rookie 😜
                      Also nice to see there are quite a few people that use Bunq as their only bank. Nice! 👍

                        I feel more like a tester thats why I have such a huge value of accounts.
                        Often I don't like the banks as some of them (DKB, Wüstenrot) have such an old fashioned online system ...

                        I think bunq will be more and more important for me in the nearest future although I miss a web UI to see my accounts more relaxed and with using my keyboard instead of using a small screen (iPhone XS und iPhone XS, iPad Pro 2019) where I tend to typos etc and have to wear glasses.

                          Main = bunq
                          Savings = asn bank
                          Personal stuff = N26
                          Fun/test = Curve/iCard/Monese/Pocopay/Revolut

                            @Michiell#64139 iCard sounds cool. Does it work good?

                              No other banks, just only bunq 🌈

                                @RobV#64093 Triodos for savings👍

                                  @Jos-Golden-Unicorn#64187
                                  Icard is great. I use it for NFC payment and for e-cards (mastercard and visa) and rarely the plastic visa card.
                                  My only bank is bunq.
                                  My main account is a French ewallet with a mastercard and a French iban.
                                  Transferwise account (before bunq) for my purchases and sales outside Europe).
                                  Mastergold credit card for car rental or other reservations..
                                  Three savings accounts.
                                  Account for cryptos with a martercard (bitwala only does bitcoin so not yet in my projects).

                                  I haven't had a bank for three years and it works well. Four months I've had a bunq and I'm still hesitating. But I have time to test it.

                                  Icard c'est génial. Je l'utilise pour le payement NFC et pour les e-cards ( mastercard et visa ) et rarement la carte plastique visa.
                                  Ma seule banque est bunq.
                                  Mon compte principale est un ewallet francais avec une mastercard et un iban francais.
                                  Un compte transferwise (avant bunq) pour mes achats et vente hors europe).
                                  Une carte de credit mastergold pour location voiture ou autres réservations ..
                                  Trois comptes pour l’épargne.
                                  Un compte pour la cryptos avec une carte martercard (bitwala ne fait que le bitcoin donc pas encore dans mes projets).

                                  Trois ans que je n'ai plus de banque et cela fonctionne bien. Quatre mois que j'ai bunq et j’hésite encore. Mais j'ai le temps pour tester.

                                    I have:
                                    - Bnext
                                    -Revolut
                                    -N26
                                    -Bunq
                                    -Jyske Bank (DK)
                                    -Spar Nord (DK)
                                    -BBVA (ES)

                                    And all integrated with CURVE, which it works fantastic.
                                    The idea is to reduce the fintech banks I have from 4 to 2 at the end of 2019.

                                      I use bunq for all my bank stuff and have my savings at Triodos. I have a ICS Visa card as backup with me, but not used for a loonngg time 😁
