BUNQ made a very good move forward in EU banking but PLEASE KEEP BANKING AS SIMPLE AS POSSIBLE:
There are for me too many changes which are not communicated well to the General customer via the App. Today I can as well not see my interest anymore, but BUNQ points me to a general mail how to get mass interest.
On top a Dutch friend in Holland suggested me; as Expat to take the BUNQ account to make payments in Holland and the rest of the world easier. In Holland they got double the interest rate as I get in the same EURO account in Germany.
On top I even received to much interest paid out by BUNQ in the beginning as a result of a "visual bug". BUNQ gave me their promotion rate by mistake for a couple of month's and then without communicating BUNQ took this back again. After questioning this in the App, Bunq's reply was that I have spotted a visual bug and "sorry", they took the accrued interest away again. By service mail, I got a chocolate bar for the inconveniences. Today I like to receive my interest back better.
I would like to see a more conservative approach of banking, and not a cowboy-type of running a bank. Maybe I am old, but too many changes and updates to the changes without communication makes me feel insecure. Please let me chose my own "payday" in BUNQ, and when I want to receive it once a month: pay me once a month but not STOP to pay me interest at all what you do when switching off the Payday option weekly! Last issue why can I not select on which bank account you pay out, saving is saving, and I love to get interest over interest, so please keep the paid interest on the saving account. Thank you.
