How do I find my balance on a certain date in the past?

Matthew Tap on the account, tap settings, tap on export statement, select the date you want to know as end date, download, and then you see your balance on the end date :).

It's already on the wishlist that you can see your balance on every transaction, but that is not implemented (yet).

Matthew You want to know the balance on a specific day and not like at the end of the month or year? Not sure if that’s possible, can’t say I’ve ever seen such a function anywhere other than PayPal (with a huge workaround haha).

If you mean the end of the year then you can download your yearly statement under your profile :)

LvH At Rabobank (some time ago I saw it, so maybe it's changed, but) you can hover over every transaction and see the balance after that specific transaction. Quite handy for bookkeeping purposes. :)

Petervdv 🏳️‍🌈 That’s handy indeed, I need to check if ING and knab have a similar feature :) Never knew they introduced something like that, a few years ago it was impossible without manually calculating it :P

Bij ABN kun je ook de mutaties zien. Het is redelijk gebruikelijk voor mensen die administratie bijhouden (zoals freelancers). Mijn accountant vraagt er ook elk jaar om zodat hij de boekhouding kan afsluiten.

Maar ik zie net dat je het saldo van 1 jan, en 31 dec. per rekening kan zien in de PDF; te downloaden via Profile -> My Membership -> Annual Overview. Nice :)

Is exporting still the oly way of knowing the balance for a given date? This feels quite complicated compared to just opening one transaction detail.

Yes, exporting is still the only way to know the balance for a given date on the bunq app. You can export a bank statement to see the balance for a specific date.
