  • Esque je suis obligé de entrée mon numéro d'entité fiscale pour les impôts?

Parceque je travaille pas et j'ai pas de salaire qui vient tout les moi.

    @Nicolas-Lime-Quokka#73024 Hi 👋🏼 Nicolas,

    bunq 🌈 is obligated by law to ask this information. You have three months to provide this information.

    Everyone has a tax number, regardless your income.

    If you have any questions please let me know

      Mais je n'ai pas de revenus et j'habite chez mes parents donc esque je suis toujours obligé de le faire? parceque je n'ai pas c'est numéro

        @Nicolas-Lime-Quokka#73029 Hi if you live in France, then you should ask your parents

        "If you do not have a tax obligation yet (such as you're a minor and you have no fiscal obligation), provide us with the tax number of one of your parents"

        bunq is (unlike some other Fintech e-money wallets) a real bank account, so they are required to ask for this type of information.

          @Jakob#73035 J'ai donné le numéro fiscale de un de mes parents pour l'enregistrement mai esque cela a un changement sur la prochaine déclaration d'impôts

            @Nicolas-Lime-Quokka#74787 I'm obviously not a tax lawyer and I don't know about France, so this is your responsibility to research...

            But normally you only have to pay taxes if you receive interest. So you should go to the "My Money" menu and disable "I want interest". Then you won't get any interest and you should not have to pay any additional taxes or report anything to the tax office. Just make sure that you disable the interest.

            Or if you enable it you probably have to report the amount to the tax office and pay a certain percentage to the French government. Your choice.

              @Jakob#74802

              The reference of a tax ID is not specifically for interest but more for owned funds. The interest switch is not related to the tax ID as its always necessary to supply it.

                Tax departments need information from banks to verify whether you are eligible to pay taxes under the appropriate tax laws in the country of residence or other countries.

                That is why banks in the European Union are obliged to register the Tax Identification Number of all customers.

                  @Nicolas-Lime-Quokka#74787 I assume you are an adult, so you'll need to provide your own tax number to bunq.

                  If you are a minor, you have a tax number too. Under EU law every citizen is given a tax number when they are born or when they settle in Europe.

                  You can contact your national tax authority to ask them if they can supply you with this information. They will send you a letter with the number to your official address.

                    @Samzoiets#74822 Hey bunq itself says that French minors should supply the number of their parents. That‘s what this thread was all about.

                      @Jakob#74870 If bunq is okay with that, you should follow their guidelines.

                      They are more familiar with bank regulations then I am, to be honest.

                        @Tim#74812 It is always necessary to supply of course. But the reason is primarily because the Dutch goverment shares tax information according to CRS with other governments. For that the Tax ID is needed.

                        So, if you don‘t want them to report your capital gains to your tax authorities... I just suggest not having any.

                          @Jakob-Y#74802 I can't find this anywhere on the app? neither the My Money aor the I want interest button

                            @New-Emerald-Reindeer-2415928044#292135 Hey there Olivia 👋 Thank you for reaching out to us! If you cannot add your tax number via the app, please send us this information as well as a valid document that proves this number belongs to you to support@bunq.com or via the in-app support 🙏 This way our guides will add this information to your account manually.
