  • Pay at Pump fuel (UK)

Just wondered does the card work with the UK pay at pump fuel dispensers, a lot don't so was just checking. Not a deal breaker but would be handy if it did.

      If the fuel company accepts Maestro and/or Mastercard, your bunq card will work. If it's an unmanned gas station, be aware they will usually put a reservation on the account of around €100 and then you will be refunded the difference once the transaction is complete 🚗🌈

          I tried at a Sainsburys Fuel Station. The machine reserved 125 € on my Bunq Mastercard (Debit) but then gave me an error when I tried to fill up my car. We had to do it the "normal" way and paid with the same card inside the fuel station.

          One thing to note, the paymend is still showing up in my payment history with one checkmark (not two). And the 125€ are still not striked through, like other cancelled payments.

            Normally the reservation is released automatically, give it a few days or contact the merchant about it. If it still is not resolved you can contact the Support chat 💬. 🙂
