I'm sorry to say that I hate this new UI with a passion. Some of it is simply stylistic and I will learn to tolerate it; I'm not going to abandon Bunq just because your UI is somewhat less amazing than it used to be. But here's 2 concrete ways in which the upgrade has made my life worse, which I hope you'll please consider fixing:
- Important screens like app / security preferences and "New support request" need to be easily findable from the main screen ("Me" -> "..."), rather than buried under the "Profile" screen. (Currently a user who wants to ask for support must click on "Profile", then on the big "Plus" button. What was the thinking behind this? To me this plus button indicates "Add a new profile", not "Show me more options available for my account.")
- I hate the "bubble cards" style of listing accounts, cards, etc. Please restore the ability to show lists as vertical lists, rather than as 2-column cards.
- Afterthought: +1 to the other voices here that have asked for the non-banking-related UI elements to be removed, demoted, or at least hideable. For example, the presence of the "# trees saved" bubble at the top of the main screen really feels like ad space, like a reminder "Hey you aren't using Bunq's new tree-saving card yet. Want to upgrade to that so your homepage becomes more useful?" Same with the "Us" tab: it's cool to know how many trees Bunq has planted so far, and see your latest blog posts, but this belongs in a diminuitive "Blog" link buried in a dropdown menu, not as the second tab on the main screen. (And if this tab offers other options more personally relevant to me, I'm unlikely to discover them due to the way it's presented.)
