  • "If this, then that" rule system

bunq never does that, bunq is really clear on that one; they prefer the surprise over a statement of a date that might not be met in the end. Everything on Together is closely monitored, the Product team is aware of this topic, if/when/how it is implemented is the surprise in this case. 🙂

    Nieuw hier, maar dat terzijde,

    Ik zoek ook een IFTT principe voor het volgende.
    Feit: Salaris wordt op de 21e gestort, tenzij weekend; dan op vrijdag
    Wens: Als salaris wordt gestort, verdeel geld:
    - bedrag X naar rekening Y
    - bedrag A naar rekening Z
    - enz enz enz;
    - restant naar spaar rekening

    Redelijk af te vangen met een automatische overboeking op de 23e, maar das niet sexy

      After the last intensively discussed update with the Argument of simplification, I suppose, this feature is not on the roadmap anymore. Sorry, guys.

        @sgr-smt-ontwerpstudio-Azure-Lion#40285 Dit kan toch ook met bunq? Met bunq kun je 25 "potjes" met eigen IBAN maken

          @Bastiaan#40288 Ja, klopt, ik dacht dit automatisch was.. Niet goed gelezen... Maar jammer dat het bij Bunq niet lijkt te komen.. Zou echt een meerwaarde hebben.

            Just adding my vote as well to this list. Some automation would be very welcome (could be very basic like automatic top up from a specific bunq account and move money if the account contains more tha €X - inspired by how Knab handles this)

              Yes, have my upvote!

              Automating your cashflow with datetime-based scheduling is so 1999 ;-)

              As Bunq being the smartest fintech'er of my country, I'd be proud to see them providing event-based automation for your cashflow.

              In the meantime, the absence of this feature is a good reason to enhance my Python-skills ;) Keep up the good work, Bunq!

                @herzkerl#53773 I do not trust/allow third party to have ‘full’ access to my accounts. So I like to see Bunq will implement it inside the Bunq app itself.

                  Same for me. I do certainly see possibilities for these kind of functions like ittt, but wouldn’t want to give other parties access to my accounts. I’m not a developer or it nerd but more an expert consumer user. So I want to know what is happening with my account and money. And gonna give this out of hands to some other guys I don’t know except Ali & friends that is. 😉🌈

                    I also really hope
                    This comes into the app. Flow was nice when the idea was a stand-alone app connecting directly to bunq. As soon as I read ‘backend’ and ‘PSD2’ I was gone. I don’t want a ‘service’ connecting to my bank account with the possibility of storing (and thus losing) data I want direct smart control over my bank account.

                      The problem with bunq referring to the API is that although it is very nice to have an actual API, the gross part of users don't know what to do with an API.

                      I for instance have some experience with programming in Visual Basic (VBS/VBA) but not much on other programming languages such as Phyton or C++ or Swift.

                      Nor do I have the time to read in on those languages. At bunq there are many programmers who have the proper language skills and knowledge of the bunq infra structure.

                      All I know from my experience is that 'if ... then do'-structures are one of the most basic structures in programming. The basics of such a feature would be within my skillset. But offering a user interface with the possibility to choose variables and communicating with the bunq-app is far beyond my skills.

                      This is where the programmers at bunq are way more experienced than I am, as a matter of fact, most users are. It would take bunq much less effort to build such a feature for its growing community.

                      So why not build this, as many users want this and it is quite straight forward for you guys?

                        3 months later

                        @Elise#11310 Is er al een update voor deze functie? Asap lanceren aub 🙏

                          @Olivier-Cyan-Zebra#98697 bunq doesn't give updates; only when a feature is ready and launched you'll hear about it. Not any sooner. So asking for updates doesn't help. We will just have to wait patiently to see whether bunq will build something like this. 😁

                            Still happy bunq is not cluttering their app with a gimmicky feature like ifttt schedulers for payments. I don’t need this for managing my family expenses or for my business.

                            We’re not talking about creating a system to move some emails, but about real money and real potential lawsuits if bunq does a release which breaks one of the configured rules and causes damages.

                            Bunq, please keep ignoring this one and please keep focusing on building things which do offer value. 👍

                              Heel graag!

                                It would be awesome to see a rule-based transaction system within the app.
                                As many others mentioned before, I don't really want a third party app to move money around on my bank account but rather have a thing like that in the app :)

                                  Klinkt als een goed idee. Ik zit zelf te wachten op een feature zoals;
                                  Als je week/maand/jaar bugetten gebruikt het restant bedrag van de oude periode automatisch over laten schrijven naar een andere rekening binnen Bunq. Dit zorgt er voor dat je budget altijd kloppend is en geen overschotten kent
