@Andreas-Cyan-Badger#93738 Hi πŸ‘‹πŸΌ Andy,

When you Freeze a card πŸ’³ an option called 'block' is showing. With block you can permanent remove a card πŸ’³. Only then you would be able to order a new one.

      Was ich nicht ganz okay finde von Bunq ist, dass man fΓΌr die Karte schon zahlen soll (9 Euro), obwohl ein Erscheinungsdatum noch gar nicht absehbar/bekannt ist.

        Can someone help me what exactly the difference is between this and the debit card. I’ve used the debit card to rent cars and book hotels for a while now. It’s not ideal but it works with the same logic as I’m seeing for this new card.

          @Bas-Magenta-Frog#93801 This is answered a couple of times above now. πŸ™‚ if you scroll up a bit then you should be able to find it (there is also a comment by bunq employee Elise somewhere with clarifications) πŸ™‚πŸ‘

            @Sander#93803 So basically some back end wizardry to help people say yes to this card more? Can’t they just do this with the existing debit card?

              @Bas-Magenta-Frog#93806 no the cards themselves are recognised and processed differently.

                @Andreas-Azure-Cheetah#93781 Never heard of "Crowdfunding"? ;-)

                  @Sander#93814 Great thanks for the effort of responding 😁

                    I still think debit cards should get a free upgrade to a travel card. They are just better versions of the same.

                      @Andreas-Azure-Cheetah#93781 That’s why they call it a pre-order! πŸ˜‰

                        @Chong-Maroon-Jaguar#93825 So that means if you buy a car now, and the manufacturer release a new version of the car next year, you should get a free upgrade as well?

                          @Roeshimi#93829 Don't compare a car (commodity) to a bank. That's a strawman fallacy.

                            Hey bunqers! πŸ‘‹

                            Update about Apple Pay on this July 31st. It will be available soon.

                            Our team is working hard to make this happen as soon as possible. We'll just have to wait a bit longer until we can share any updates over this.

                            Have a great day! 🌈
