  • Plant trees with online (Green) cards

I understand that itโ€™s probably not financially viable to extend the green card bonus to all cards of an account holder. But I donโ€™t really want to leave my green card number with online merchants. If the info gets stole, I would have to order a new, expensive replacement card.

Could we get a โ€œvirtual green cardโ€ with a different card number please?

That would also be great in order to allow us a better budgeting since we could steer online-transactions to another account than the one the physical card is pointing at

@AnDue#137810 If the info gets stole, I would have to order a new, expensive replacement card.

I don't think it will cost 99 EUR again for a replacement, as a new number and physical card is not that expensive and must not be expensive due to the fact that it is a metal one.
BTW: do we have a price for a replacement Green Card in the price lists?

For a Premium user with a Green Card, maybe it could be made in such a way that the Online Cards automatically get "upgraded" in a way that you can also collect trees with them. Hard to say exactly what is the most realistic approach without having data on how much money bunq actually gets from interchange fees. Right now the Online Cards use the same BINs as the physical Mastercard Debit, so they probably also are MC Debits cards, and not Credit.

If my assumption is right (it doesn't have to be), that only the MC Credit card interchange is enough for bunq to finance the tree planting project, it would be nice to be able to also collect trees with your Travel Card(s) and maybe a new version of Online Cards that is MC Credit-based, as long as you also are a Green Card user. Or, well, a special "online green card" number would also be one solution.

@JeroenE#137868 Oh Gott, ich werde sie nach Erhalt in den Wandtresor legen.

@Heiko-Hartwig#137863 as a new number and physical card is not that expensive and must not be expensive due to the fact that it is a metal one.

Metal cards are quite expensive to produce. ๐Ÿ™‚ (+ environmental friendly shipping)

Anyway, I do like this idea a lot. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜

Tim changed the title to Plant trees with online (Green) cards .

I completely agree with this idea. In my opinion if you buy a green card when you already own premium, all (master)cards should count towards your tree count.

@R#144710 Yes, that would be the best idea from all and is requested already several times: premium users wich buy a green card too, should be able to plant trees with all their cards. I hope this will become true in some time. ๐ŸŒณ๐ŸŒˆ๐ŸŒณ
