I only recently started a Joint account, with my wife. It was finally time to leave the 'old' banks for a refreshing modern way of communicating. It's nice to be able to do everything remotely and without paperwork. The price of 10 euros a month is worth it, but only just. I only now noticed that we both have a Premium account because they decided to kill off the current Joint accounts. I don't really see what the problem was; I had no problems with the 'unclear' pricing and features.
It's really too bad I did not get a message or an email about this. I understand the poor communication, it happens. I still trust bunq to be responsible to own up to this mistake.
But I'm really wondering what 'new' features bunq is going to add, and if they will increase the price as a result. That's the part of the new Joint product I'm worried about, because it forces me to either (1) leave bunq and go through all the trouble of switching banks again, or (2) pay more for the exact same usage. If that price increase happens, that definitely won't restore the trust you put into a bank.
