              Seems to me like the point of the article that OP linked is that the word Tribe might not be ideal to use in a certain context, which is when speaking about African states and societies, or also to an extent when talking about communities of Native Americans and so on. I can't make the jump to the usage of tribe in the bunq app to be offensive, though. That would just mean that you cannot use the word "tribe" in any context whatsoever.

                          Allow users to select their own nomenclature, a-la personal pronouns? I personally like the word tribe because it calls up a notion of family and have used it with friends for a number of years now... But I can imagine people might also like to use other terms.

                            I like the word ‘Forest’. So you can team up with other people and join a ‘Forest’ you can create and grow together.

                              Est ce le mot qu'il faut faire disparaître ou les personnes qui ont utilisé ce mot. Ces même personnes qui aujourd’hui utilisent d'autre mots en toute liberté. Aller combattre ces gens et pas les mots ce sera plus bénéfique pour l'avenir.
