Hello Bunq, I love your bank and loved the app. Love your functionalities that are being offered as virtual cards, pin identifying the account, the simplicity of creating accounts, the rainbow colors, all of it.
I work in IT and had a play with version 3 but it is so fundamentally different and not intuitive that I am having a hard time to understand why you made such a drastic move. It seems as v3 is the first release of a v1 of the app and V2 being the improved successor. I understand your drive for sustainability but the core of your business and the app is banking. I get the idea of simplifying the screen having less options but hiding everything behind the PLUS button, with different options in different sections does not help to simplify, it makes the app something that people need to get used to and remember which is not the intention of a good user interface.
And then, when trying to understand the reduction of options in the screen you have replaced them by items that, according to the feedback, 80-90 percent of your paying customers is not using/waiting for.
Can you please listen to your customers and don’t perceive the less positive feedback as rude or non-constructive. That people are taking the time to respond means they like bunq. That they are frustrated shows they are passionate about bunq. The comments that might be the hardest to read as company, might be the feedback of the people that want the best for bunq. Please don’t ignore any of these comments.
Many thanks
