  • [FIXED] Can’t generate new CVC code for virtual/online cards

Hi, I can't use my virtual cards at the moment, if I try to get the CVC I get a "card need to be activated" instead. But all my cards are activated. My wife has the same problem on her account. It's been like that at least for a few hours.
I never had such a problem on a core functionality on Bunq before. Something's wrong. For a banking app, ability to pay is more important than planting trees...

    Heute Morgen ging meine Karte im Laden nicht. Jetzt gehen alle Online-Karten nicht und ich habe alle Dienste erstmal auf Paypal umgestellt, da meine Abos bei Spotify etc. nicht abgebucht werden können! Hilfe!

              Habe hier das identische Problem, meine Online Karten sind angeblich eingefrorenen. In der App sieht alles OK aus, kann aber keinen CVC sehen. 😠 Sehr ärgerlich!

                Bloedirritant, want mijn abonnementen kunnen zo niet afgeschreven worden.

                  Can see cvc code here, but I've already received two notifications about failed payments... Card appears as activated in my account...

                    I solved the issues with my online cards and they are now working as usual.

                    Find one of your refused payments and tap on ‘Activate card’.
                    Just follow along with the process as it were a physical card.
                    Yes, it did arrive and yes, I would like 0000 as my PIN.
                    That’s it, you’re done.

                    Online cards will work as expected.

                        @Jyulz#181071 Any PIN will do as you don’t have a physical card to use that PIN with.

                        What worries me the most is that these kind of vital systems aren’t monitored 24/7 apparently. Bunq should have noticed this right away as payment got refused.

                        My report of this matter in Support Chat obviously stays unnoticed until Monday morning as no one monitors these reports during the weekend.

                          Online cards in general are still a disaster in V3.
                          Besides the problems with the CVC and the detour via "activate" I also have the problem (under iOS 14.0.2) that I cannot delete or block online cards.I can only freeze and unfreeze them, but not delete them permanently.

                            Funktionieren denn die physischen Karten fehlerfrei? Ich muss gleich einige Einkäufe tätigen und will nicht wie der letzte Depp an der Kasse stehen, nur weil ich bei diesem Unternehmen Kunde bin, was sich selbst eine Bank nennt.

                                @Slummi#181100 I don’t have any problems with the physical cards or using virtual or physical cards via ApplePay.

                                Didn’t have the CVC-issue on any of my ApplePay-cards.

                                    I noticed if I create a new virtual card it works and gets a "cloud" icon while my v2 virtual cards all have a Mastercard icon. I have 4 of them (v2): one seems to work, I can see the CVC. The 3 others have totally erratic behavior: for some nothing happens if I tap on the CVC or card #, for others, it shows an error message. I have an option to change the PIN (on a virtual card🤔), I can't deactivate them...
                                    Tried to deinstall/reinstall the app with no change.
                                    Since my wife and I both have the same problem I suspect this is Bunq related and not something specific with my phone. We both are on Android.
                                    Contacted the support yesterday but no answer yet.

                                      Apparently there are a several reports about Online Card 💳. Currently bunq has these report under investigation and as soon as I know more I will inform you guys! Hopefully they are able to fix the cause and fix this fast.
