Hey bunqers 🌈
Lost your card or looking to get a new one? You have the option to Block Temporarily (deactivate) or Block Permanently your card.
What's the difference?
Blocking your card temporarily is a reversible action. If you deactivate your card, you can activate it once again in the future (such as if you find your card again).
Blocking your card permanently is an irreversible action. If you block your card permanently, you can no longer unblock it and you will need to order a new card.
If you want to activate your card, you can take a look at the topic here.
How do I block my card temporarily?
To temporarily block your card, follow the steps below:
- Go to 🏠 Home tab
- Select a card
- Tap on ⚙️ Settings
- Tap on Block Card
- Select 🟦 Block Temporarily
- Done 🎉
Keep in mind that due to security reasons, your card will be automatically blocked temporarily if there are multiple failed card transactions due to insufficient balance.
You can re-activate your card by simply following the steps explained here - once you do, you'll be able to either top-up the Bank Account linked to the card in question or link the card to a Bank Account with sufficient balance. If the same card keeps experiencing more failed transactions, it'll be permanently blocked.
