  • App not accepting address during sign-up.

I'm trying to add a BUNQ+1 for my wife, but no matter what variations we try, the app will not accept our address (entered manually as auto doesn't work) on her iPhone. So have not been able to complete the process.

A bit weird as I used the exact same address when I signed up (on an Android phone).

Have asked bunq for help, but no reply.

Anybody else come across this problem?

    It could be the bunq app uses the GPS location to verify the address you submit. Make sure the bunq app has location access and you are near the official address when setting up the account.

      @Tim#206704 Good suggestion. Checked and access is ok.

      I have a feeling it is to do with the postcode, as although the country is set correctly, it will not allow spaces, which there should be. It's as if it is looking for an all number continental style code (we're in Ireland and have codes more like in the UK).

      So still stuck.

            Anyone know how to solve this even if location is on still saying invalid

              You can contact Support via Profile > Menu (the round button with bunq colours) > Get Private Support or via support@bunq.com.
