How do I reset my security code?

Are you locked out of the app, or did you forget your security code? Don't worry! You can reset it in the app. Before trying to reset your security code, be sure to:

Login with the same phone number or email address you've registered with your bunq account.
To login with your phone number, you should be able to receive SMS messages and enter the correct area code.
If you want to login with your email address, make sure it's been confirmed. You can check if you did this by searching for the confirmation email within your inbox.

How do I reset my security code?

Update to the latest version of the bunq app.
Tap on Already a member? Login!
Tap on Forgot security code?
Enter your phone number or email address that you’ve registered with your bunq account and tap on Next.
Authenticate yourself through the Onfido flow with a selfie video.
Choose your new security code.
