Basically just a swap around of the original bunq-card, so it doesn't look weird in vertical wallets.

It would be nice to see (for a small charge of course) bunq permitting you to personalize your card. We can do this in England; you can upload holiday photos for example and have a unique card. It would certainly make it more identifiable if you list it.

@Leon-Indigo-Panda#31712 Well this is debatable, because I also use a vertical wallet (secrid) and for me it doesn’t look weird because I have the cards in my wallet with the chip facing up.

So that’s just a matter of preference.

I really love the current bunq card. But I also totally agree the idea of a new (probably selectable, next to the current one) design.

For example: a black bunq card will give the bank a more premium feeling. There are a lot of people who have a fetisj for black/metal cards. And bunq is defenitly premium. I mean, you don't have to cycle to a building to arrange things, but you can do this everywhere you are. Well that's what you call premium. However, I'm not sure if a black card will fit in bunq's brand idea. But there will defenitly be a design that will fit every customer. 🏴🏳️‍🌈

Next to that, the bunq logo is designed to look the same upside down. But I certainly understand why it looks weird for Sercret wallet users. Anyways, when you turn the card upside down, it will look weird in card readers.

I thought about a metal card multiple times during the last months, every time a competitor like N26 or Revolut announced something like this. 🤔 But I always came to the conclusion that I probably won't need any card at all, when Apple Pay is coming to Germany later this year. So for me a metal card would be a nice gimmick, but I don't expect to use it much when I can pay with my smartphone. 📱

A few color variations in the current design would be great, as I mentioned earlier (https://together.bunq.com/d/1496-the-refreshed-maestro-design), I would prefer a blue-ish or green-ish variant. Could help keep the cards apart.

I could not understand the problem with vertical wallets. My cards in secrid wallet and in the terminal are always in the right direction.

@SimonM#32080 Still like your mock-up - gives the user a choice! I would love to use different colors for Maestro and MasterCard. 🌈😊
