@Marcantonio-Silver-Akita#270824 any chance we can see a roadmap?
There are no public roadmaps at bunq. When a feature is ready, it gets released.
Un mese dopo e siamo ancora senza IBAN italiano ๐ฅฒ
Come on guys! Let's make it happen!!!
any updates on Italian IBAN?
Up, we want IT IBAN!
Yes, we want it!
Why is it taking so long
I'd like Italian IBAN too!
Hello everyone ๐ Thanks for all your feedback, we know how much you'd all like to see the Italian IBAN option ๐ฎ๐น ๐ We're working hard on making this possible, however, regulatory reviews require some time. At the moment, we don't have a timeframe to share with you, but we'll be sure to keep you informed if there are new updates ๐
Why do I see on Italian review sites (e.g. https://www.fintastico.com/it/servizi/reviews/bunq/ ) that an Italian Iban is offerered with both the Easy Money and Easy Green plans (and not with Easy Bank) ?
@New-Olive-Frog-3511017190#277969 I often check reviews for bunq around the web. It's very rare for any to have completely accurate and up-to-date information. So doesn't surprise me that there are sites like this out there that publish just fabricated info.
Case in point: Nowhere on any official bunq site is any information about Italian IBANs being available, and definitely not only for some plans. Right from when they started with their first foreign branch, they made the respective IBAN available to all customers that are residents of that country, completely regardless of their plan. The only "premium" feature is Local IBANs, which allows one to get an IBAN from a country they do not reside in. So if in the future bunq will offer an Italian IBAN option (no idea if/when that'd happen, just hypothetical), then my prediction is that if you're a resident of Italy, you will get an IT IBAN regardless of your bunq plan. That would be in line with how bunq handled it so far all these years and there's currently no indication that they plan on deviating from that.
As for these review sites, I personally have given up on trying to get them correct their information, but sometimes it helps contacting them ;)
Itโs very disappointing how this is not introduced yet with the latest release 23. What are you guys waiting for?
As I am lving in both Italy and the Netherlands for me having an Italian IBAN would be great,it would be great to know, if and if so when the would be implemented. Of course if there is some definite decision to not implement it at all that would also be worth to now.
For me as Dutch citizen it would be definitely the motivation to do my full banking via bunq!
So Bunq, please make it happen 'let's make it one Europe', it would definitely make me select bunq for all my banking acitivites!
Hello everyone ๐ Your enthusiasm for the Italian IBAN feature ๐ฎ๐น ๐ hasn't gone unnoticed. We are constantly assessing future improvement so we will make sure to update you if this feature will be released!
@Alexia-Hummingbird#285299 weโre losing hopeโฆ
I was recently again in a situation connected to IBAN-discrimination for which the bank I have the mortgage with wouldnโt allow to make me pay it on my bunq account.
I fully understand time is needed to work out the regulatory issues, is there an update and a time plan?
@marcozima#287939 Hey Marco ๐ We're sorry to hear about this experience! Be sure to keep an eye out here, on Together, as well as all of our social platforms. Any major updates, including the addition of new Local IBANs, will be announced there ๐
looking forward to this, being an expat in AMS this would make all much easier also to avoid having 2 bank accounts and 2 different apps and have all ibans inside bunq
