@Tonnie-Turquoise-Butterfly#227849 Hi đđŒ Tonnie,
I understand you concerns, and yesâŠ. this all sound scary.
BUT, letâs put things in perspective. The bottom line: if you just do your thing like every normal person would, there is nothing to be afraid of.
Why people get blocked?
Every bank is by law obligated to know their customers and make sure they donât do anything illegal, like money laundry or use their account for fraud. So, bunq will monitor all payment traffic 24x7, also to protect us users. When a transaction stands out, bunq could ask the user for extra information. No big deal at this point. But when a user canât give a valid explanation for example, bunq could block the account temporarily. Ultimately, bunq could close down your account, but they wonât take such decisions lightly!
But all those reviews?
Well, the biggest problem here is that we only see one side of the story! Believe it or not, but also criminals post reviews. You can almost always assume that people arenât as innocent as they claim to be in a review.
I bank at bunq for a few years now. I never ever ran into any kind of trouble. And 99% of the users will also never experienced any issues.
In the end itâs all about trust. Do you trust bunq to guard your money? I do!
