Manisha That’s IBAN discrimination and forbidden by European law. You can simply give all institutions a hint to this fact, if they don’t accept your NL IBAN. People used bunq for years with NL IBANs in Germany until bunq introduced de IBANs, just like Jakob told you he did.
Nonetheless, if you having problems creating DE IBAN as a German resident you should contact bunq Support in the app by following these steps:
- Go to Profile
- Tap on Settings ⚙️in the right corner on top
- Scroll to the bottom, tap on Need help? Get Support, then choose Personal Support
