How do I export a RIB?

RIB stands for relevé d'identité bancaire, meaning 'statement of banking identity', or just another way of saying bank account details. It is merely a pre-printed form with your bank account number and sort codes for national and international transactions.

You can export one for your bunq account by following the simple steps explained below 🚀

How can I export a RIB?

You can simply get it by following the process explained below!

Go to 🏠 Home
Select the Bank Account for which you need a RIB
Tap on ⚙️ Settings
Select Relevé d’Identité Bancaire
Export the RIB and you're done 🙌

Go to 👤 Profile
Go to Accounting
Select Relevé d’Identité Bancaire
Export the RIB and you're done 🙌

Good to know

To export your RIB in French, ensure your phone's default language is set to French.
When you export a RIB for a Joint Account, it will display only your name as the one exporting it. If you need it for legal reason there can be two suggestions:
- Export both the RIB and a regular bank statement, which will display both account holders' names, and attach them for the requesting party.
- Export RIBs from both account holders and submit them together as attachments.
