RIB stands for relevé d'identité bancaire, meaning 'statement of banking identity', or just another way of saying bank account details. It is merely a pre-printed form with your bank account number and sort codes for national and international transactions.
You can export one for your bunq account by following the simple steps explained below 🚀
How can I export a RIB?
You can simply get it by following the process explained below!
- Go to Home
- Select the sub-account for which you need a RIB
- Tap on ⚙️
- Select Relevé d’Identité Bancaire
- Export the RIB and you're done 🙌
or
- Go to Profile
- Go to Accounting
- Select Relevé d’Identité Bancaire
- Export the RIB and you're done 🙌
Good to know
- Language of the phone itself has to be set to French first in order for the app to allow you export it.
- Joint sub-accounts will show one the name of the person exporting it. If you need it for legal reason there can be two suggestions:
a) export RIB and regular bank statement (that will show both names) and provided to the requesting party attached
b) export RIBs from both sides of Joint and provide them attached.
