  • Friend can’t join bunq

Hey, I’ve invited friend to join bunq, she tried to register but got the message mentioned above. I’ve also inv her for joined account but her registration stuck. Is this normal to wait for an activation more than 24h?

    After her account is verified (this can take 1-2 weeks), you can invite her for a Joint account.

      usually, if all documents needed are presented and images are clear and video verification is done according to the instructions, it really takes no more than 5 minutes to get up and running (just experienced few days ago with my nephew who got on bunq via my invitation link).

      If then validation can not be done immediately (automatically), bunq needs to review manually and it may take up to 2 weeks unfortunately. Keep an eye on the messages from bunq either in App or via email for further possible documents requirements.
