Just an hour ago someone called us saying it was from the Bunq bank that someone tried to make a transfer from our business account. ILCO HOEKSTRA was his name, He had the last three numbers of our account and my birth date, I told him i found it odd he was calling bc as far as I was aware Bunq doesn’t call ppl, yet he said this was a matter of safety and that’s why I was called. His voice was getting more annoyed and aggressive towards me but I told him he should send me some kind of verification and he said he just verified by saying the last three numbers of the account. Then asked me how much I had on my account but I said no way give a phone number where I can call you, he puts me on hold and I didn’t had patience so hang up.
He calls back asking why I hang up and that my account will be put on quarantine for three days but I had to transfer the money myself. As you all can imagine I got furious and exploded I said no wat I’m gonna transfer my money to you to ask called “save” account and started to yell at him that o wasn’t going to do such thing and I was asking support through the app, he got pissed and super aggressive and then I lost it I went ballistic on him and hang up.
