I see your point. I like bunq a lot. But the development of the app is one of bunq’s shortcomings. The app, functional as it is, feels confusing and amateur.
To give one example, when they updated to this version, bunq.me function was put in every sub-account‘s IBAN&BIC section. Took me a long time to find it because it’s not account-specific but an overall function. And once you find it, you start wondering WHY is it there? Under every IBAN and BIC? Why is it a part of IBAN&BIC block?
The Green page and Profile page have the wildest UI design on my phone. Big letters, small letters, overlapping letters, big icons, small icons… It’s been better than when this version first released but still pretty bad. Now, why is developer’s tools at the bottom of the ‘Profile’ page while address book is in the settings?
Bunq together has been removed from the app completely. Now I use my browser, scroll down two pages of important information that bunq pins upfront that I’m sure everyone reads everyday, to reach this forum and feel connected with the bunq community. But no worries, I get to watch all the trees that I planted in the app easily. I must love to look at them everyday.
I trust bunq as my main bank account. I’m a happy bunq customer but I would really recommend bunq to upgrade their UI/UX designs. I also use other fintech apps or neo-bank apps and bunq has to be on the worse side in their app designs. It all works but is just not easy to use/navigate.
I have provided all above-mentioned suggestions to bunq in previous user experience surveys.
