Same issue here.
I created an account. It came with a default german iban because i was on holiday when creating it. Removed that account and created a new one with a durch iban as the default invoicing account.
Now when i try to use ideal i get the "no monetary account found for the alias" mentioning my initial german iban. If i restore that account ideal works again but now i have to always switch to the rother account in the app.
Default invoicing account should also set it as default for ideal. And removing an account that is the default for ideal should also change te default to an existing account.
As a workaround @New-Burgundy-Pelican-3891006648#276233 you could try restoring deleted accounts from the archive and see if that helps.

This issue may be occurring because you don't have a regular sub account, and you just have Savings sub-accounts.
In order to fix this, open a regular sub-account!
@New-Burgundy-Pelican-3891006648#276233 Same here. This has been going on for weeks for me. Can't pay for anything through ideal. This just decided to start showing up all of a sudden. I didn't change a thing. I was told to select the right sub-account, but I only have one lol. Even reinstalling the app changed nothing. It's driving me nuts.
@New-Denim-Chipmunk-839294697#276378 Is your sub-account a savings account or a regular one? You should be able to distinguish them by clicking on it and then when it tells you about interest payments, that means it's a savings account, otherwise it should be a regular sub-account.
I opened a easy savings account. When I try to put money on this account through ideal, my bank says:, betaling mislukt. Anyone has an answer for this?
@New-Turquoise-Lizard-3960551614#276382 That seems unrelated to this thread's topic, but if you have trouble with iDEAL then it might be a good idea to just send a regular SEPA bank transfer manually. With a fresh new account, it might take a few hours before other banks can fully verify it, so either send the transfer manually (and click through any warnings that might be shown) or wait until tomorrow and try again.
