There are a couple of possible reasons why you might not see or not receive your MassInterest on your payout date. You can find more information and possible troubleshooting steps below:
Check your Payday settings
Make sure you have your bunq Payday toggle enabled. If this toggle has been disabled, you won’t receive MassInterest. Furthermore, the Bank account you’ll receive your pay-out is your billing one. Further information can be found here.
The MassIntrest from your Multi Currency Savings Account will be paid out in the oldest active Bank account you have in this currency.
Check your bunq Plan
bunq MassInterest is applicable for Easy Savings, Easy Bank, Easy Bank Pro and Easy Bank Pro XL.
If you’re still on Easy Travel, it’s possible that you’re not receiving interest, since it’s not part of the plan’s benefits. In order to start receiving interest again, you can change your plan to one of the above-mentioned, by following the easy and fast steps explained here
See if you have to provide more verification documents
It’s possible that your account still needs to be verified and we’ve requested some documents from you in the app.
Be sure to check your Home Tab or Profile Tab for any awaiting events which may require you to provide extra information in order to fully verify your account.
See if your balance is able to generate €0.01
If the balance in your Savings Account isn’t able to generate at least €0.01 on a daily basis, we won’t be able to make a payout. Further information on the minimum funds you need to have in your Savings account can be found here.
